A very marvelous place to visit is Arches National Park, just north of Moab, Utah. Eons of erosion from wind and rain have created a multitude of sculptured arches of all sizes, from the very small to the immense. This photo illustrates how light is reflected about and illuminates this arch from underneath. The color is typical of the native stone of the area.
