GPS Receiving Station

With the modern Global Positioning System, surveyors, who once had to search for a physical start or tie-in point to complete a legal survey, can now set up a receiving station such as this to determine their location on the Earth’s surface to within centimeters, utilizing 3-D triangulation from satellites in orbit overhead.
